A few famous street photographers are Garry Winogrand, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Helen Levitt and Robert Frank. Google them to look at their work to see their styles.
A helpful rule when you shoot street photography, landscape, or anything in between, it's helpful to remember the acronym DIE. "D" stands for design, "I" is for information, and "E" is for emotion. Good street shots will have all of these criteria.
